Soccer Mommy joins host Raina Douris

Soccer Mommy has a new album coming out this week called Evergreen. On the World Cafe, revisit a 2020 conversation with Sophia Allison, aka Soccer Mommy, when she stopped by the show to discuss her then new album, Color Theory. Sophia talks about how the album is broken into 3 sections – yellow, blue, and gray – according to what the songs mean to her, and about how she incorporated old technology and sounds to capture something that reminded her of the tapes she would find in her house as a kid.
