When Becca Mancari’s conservative Christian family finally invited Becca’s longtime partner over for dinner, it came with a few caveats. Becca and their partner had to conceal their relationship. That experience, plus many more, shaped the songs on Becca’s new album, Left Hand. Becca joins us on the World Cafe, and they perform live versions of songs from the record.
