Josh Ritter joins host Bruce Warren

Josh Ritter is well-known for the storytelling in his lyrics – but you might not know that he’s also a novelist! He wrote his first book a decade ago, and now he’s back with The Great Glorious Goddamn of It All, a story about the 99 year-old Weldon Applegate looking back on the fantastical tales that made up his life. But since this is a novel by Josh Ritter – music weaves its way through the book. He joins executive producer, Bruce Warren, on the next World Cafe to talk about the novel and perform one of the tunes that works its way into the story – the not-yet-released song, “Some Somewhere.”
