World Cafe 30th Anniversary Show with host Stephen Kallao

It’s another 30th anniversary celebration, with a look back at memorable moments with the show’s rich roster of guests. We’ll revisit a 2005 interview with Ye, formerly known as Kanye West – At the time, he had just released his sophomore album, Late Registration, which included the massive hit, “Gold Digger.” We’ll also hear from Johnny Marr of the Smiths, who tells the story of coming up with the iconic riff for the song “How Soon is Now.” Plus, another young artist on the rise is inducted into the “30 Under 30” list.
