Houndmouth joins host Stephen Kallao

Houndmouth’s latest release, Good For You, is a return to their roots. The group that formed in New Albany, Indiana a decade ago decided to head back to their hometown to record the new album. They cut their first songs at the affectionately named Green House – a long shotgun house from the 1850s, where drummer Shane Cody’s dad grew up. On the next World Cafe, we’ll hear how the new album came to be, including the “less is more” approach inspired by producer Brad Cook. Plus, Houndmouth perform live.
