Philly’s Delco Nightingale to perform at the Turner Classic Movies Film Festival in Hollywood
A little more than a month after Delco Nightingale‘s performance at The M Room this Sunday, the local swing revivalists will be heading to Los Angeles to perform at this year’s Turner Classic Movies Film Festival. From the band:
Delco Nightingale will be heading west to Los Angeles at the end of April to join classic film luminaries and fans alike, performing at the Turner Classic Movies Film Festival in Hollywood. From April 28th-May 1st, TCM will welcome many legends of the business: stars and directors, producers, and many of the behind-the-scenes people who created these films. The primary theme of this year’s festival is going to be “music and the movies”, and will touch on all the ways that music is so vital to the movies, from famous musical background scores to timeless full-scale musicals. Among the special guests will be Peter O’Toole, Warren Beatty, Leslie Caron, Debbie Reynolds, and fellow musicians Vince Giordano and His Nighthawks.
