Take in a night of all-local hip-hop at Silk City featuring Mic Stewart, GNRLYHD, and The Bakery Boys

Silk City is hosting a night of local hip hop on Sunday, August 25. Headlining the show is Mic Stewart, the local MC who released the awesome Peaceworld this April. Also on the bill are catchy duo GNRLYHD (Gnarly Head), whose work is influenced by classic hip hop. They released their debut EP Secrets for Entertaining last year. The Bakery Boys will also be performing, before their upcoming headlining Bake and Destroy show at The Blockley on August 29th. They are currently working on new music, including their homage to Philadelphia track “Brotherly Love.” Find more information on the event here, and below, sample some work from all of the performers.
