Review: Their / They’re / There rock the First Unitarian Church
Last Friday, emo super group Their / They’re / There took the stage at the First Unitarian Church. For those who don’t know Their / They’re / There consists of Evan Weiss, better know as Into It. Over It, Matthew Frank of the math rock band Loose Lips, Sink Ships and Mike Kinsella of American Football, Owen, Joan of Arc, Cap’n Jazz fame.
The show started off with openers Birthmark, another musical endeavor from the Kinsella family. With a Radiohead meets Death Cab For Cutie sound, Birthmark – the solo project of Nate Kinsella – offered a unique openingto the show. Next up to bat was indie rockers Mansions. Cementing themselves as a band to watch in 2014, Mansions put on an insanely fun set that got the crowd excited for the rest of the show.
Their / They’re / There came to the Church in support of their second EP, the three-song Analog Weekend. The trio killed it with an extremely technical performance that the crowd went nuts for; check out photos of the show in the gallery below.
