“Your Love is a Mystery” is totally the crazy, funky video you’d expect from Johnny Showcase

Extravagant costumes, wonderfully bizarre settings – including South Street’s famed Magic Gardens – and downright funky dance moves aplenty make for a trippy and digable video for “Your Love is a Mystery” from local funk masters, Johnny Showcase.

The 8-piece Philly soul, R&B and funk group bring their usual absurdity to the video — which you can check out below — featuring frequent costume changes and constant movement. Last month the group stopped by XPN for The Key Studio Session and played some songs of their new record The Octopus!, which was a wacky and fun as you might expect.
