Watch You Do You (and cats) jam out in the “I Got Time” video
Philly five-piece You Do You have been on or radar for some time. Last year we were lucky enough to have them join us for a Key Studio Session where they played songs off their 2014 EP I Got Time and this weekend the group released a video for the record’s titular track.
If you are familiar with You Do You , you are aware that they are a band that you just cannot keep down. Their self-described genre of “that funky soul rock” begs for listeners to get up off their seat and join in on the fun and their newest video for “I Got Time” shows You Do You and friends – including cats in space – doing just that. The band extends the track to an over six-minute jam, allowing them to keep the party going as long as they damn well please.
