Now, Now smashes 5 year hiatus with poppy track, “SGL” and announces Philly date
It’s been five long years since we’ve heard from indie group, Now, Now, with their release of 2012’s Threads. Now consisting of a duo of members KC Dalager and Brad Hale, the band has broken their hiatus with the perfect poppy indie track, “SGL,” aka Shot-Gun Lover.
Opening with blunt acoustic strums, the tune immediately expands by layering in dreamy vocals and catchy, infectious beats. It’s light and catchy, but possesses a cool vibe that keeps the track from verging on typical pop blandness. Overall, “SGL” is a fun and carefree track perfect for ringing in the beginning summer days, and has us psyched for new tunes to come.
Now, Now also announced a few upcoming tour dates, and Philly thankfully made the cut – so be sure to catch Now, Now when they stop by Boot and Saddle on July 10th. Find more info on the 21+ show here and listen to “SGL” below.
