Body Meat announces new EP Year Of the Orc, shares shimmering single “ULTIMA”

Philadelphia soundscaper Body Meat has been hinting at new music in recent months, and now “ULTIMA,” the lead single from the project’s upcoming new EP, is out. The full EP, Year Of the Orc, drops on March 16 and is available for pre-order on Bandcamp.

A dazzling stream of shimmering synths and choppy beats, “ULTIMA” is accompanied by a brightly choreographed music video, which is the first part of a larger film titled “4700” that will be released later this year.

Body Meat is the project of Philly musician and electronic composer Christopher Taylor, who wrote and self-recorded the EP’s seven tracks. His last release was “The Well” last year.
