XPoNential Music Festival issues new safety protocols and entry requirements
With about four weeks left until the start of XPoNential Music Festival, WXPN announces its COVID-19 Health Policy and Entry Requirements for attendees age 12 and over: proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours are now required for entry. Final dose of the vaccine must occur two weeks before the festival’s September 17, 18, and 19th dates.
Additionally, as per CDC guidelines, masks should be worn in any indoor spaces at BB&T Pavilion and Wiggins Park. The decision follows a string of similar announcements from music venues including Union Transfer and PhilaMOCA.
XPoNential’s return to the Delaware Riverfront in Camden, NJ features 25 local artists on three stages at two venues, and according to WXPN General Manager Roger LaMay, “our overriding mission has been to connect artists with audiences in the safest way possible.” Updates to the admittance requirement come from WXPN’s commitment to providing a lively and comfortable experience for all attendees, with safety as the top priority.
Free beverages and half off of the general public price for the 3-Day Go Everywhere Pass are just a couple of the perks of being a WXPN member at XPoNential this year. For members or aspiring members who haven’t purchased their passes yet, the window to purchase them at the half-off rate ends Thursday 8/26 at midnight.
