Watch Erin Fox perform “Very Far” for upandovr’s Musicale series

The latest in the Musicale video series by Philly music tastemakers upandovr is singer-songwriter Erin Fox, performing “Very Far” from her album Fuzzy Logic that came out earlier this year. The short video is set in a familiar-looking rowhouse backyard in the bright afternoon sun. “No, we never get very far,” sings Fox, referring to our health care system and its shortcomings in addressing issues of mental health. 

Erin Fox is not afraid to start challenging conversations with her music. Her deeply personal second solo record Fuzzy Logic questions the unknown future of technology and follows a decaying relationship, among other subjects. It’s not all doom and gloom, however; Fox’s delicate and folksy style is universally charming.
