Where They’re From: Houston, TX

Who They Are:  Khruangbin blends world music influences with soul and psychedelia. The band includes bassist Laura Lee Ochoa, guitarist Mark Speer, and drummer DJ Johnson. They released their debut full length album in 2015, followed by Mordechai, in 2020. The band also released two collaborations with Leon Bridges, Texas Sun and Texas Moon.
