The 885 Countdown is back… to the future! Ok, sorry for that ham-fisted reference. But it is relevant to this year’s countdown theme! (Back to the Future Part III takes place in 1885.) We’re asking you to vote on The 885 Greatest Songs from Movies & TV for our annual year-end countdown.

Since announcing our theme, we’ve heard from listeners wanting a little bit of guidance on just what qualifies for a vote in creating YOUR Top Ten list. Here goes: If the song was used in a movie or television show, it counts. It truly is that simple.

So, if you decide you want to vote for a song performed in a concert documentary, or a song performed live on a television show, it’s your vote, so be it!
