Caroline Rose performs “Yip Yip Yow” on World Cafe

Caroline Rose @itsunclecarol has always defied expectations.

When they were “robbed blind” by their label, they started their own. When their music and the business around it got serious, they started making songs that sound “bonehead dumb.”

Today, Rose and @rahrahraina talk about the new album, ‘Gentling the Horse at the Walt Whitman Mall,’ out Oct. 23. Listen for a chat about trusting one’s artistic instincts, finding fun in the career side of music, and sidestepping an unjust system, specifically corporate ticketing.

“Musicians out here, we’ve all been complaining about Live Nation for years.”

Rose also performs live with their band. Watch the full video on YouTube.
