WXPN’s Concert Picks: Owen Stewart, IRIS Music Festival, Bob Dylan, more
We’ve got two iconic acts performing separate double headers in Camden and in Glenside, a living legend playing in West Philly, a local music festival, college rock, and more on the docket over the coming days.

Friday and Saturday — Dave Matthews Band at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion
Dave is back in town for a two-night stint at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion after releasing the band’s latest live album, Take Me Back: Live at the Gorge. You might even run into our resident DMB expert Mike Vasilikos at one (or both) of the shows.
Saturday and Sunday — Todd Rundgren at Keswick Theatre
Delco’s own musical maverick is set for back-to-back hometown (ish) shows at Keswick theater. We recently included four of his songs on our Philly 250 list and shouted him out in our pivotal moments that established Philadelphia’s reputation as the Original Music City. On top of that, he recently spoke with World Cafe host Stephen Kallao to discuss is Philly roots.
Sunday — IRIS Music Festival at Love City Gardens
Love City Brewing is welcoming postergirl, Caring Less, Kikashima, Sudha Sai, BLCKCHLD, and Leah Wrenne for the second annual IRIS Music Festival. In addition to women and femme-identifying artists, festival goers will be treated to vendors, a bar, and a food truck at the event.
Monday — Matt Maeson at The Queen
Virginia-based alt and folk rock singer-songwriter Matt Maeson is playing a solo show at The Queen in Delaware to kick off the week. His seventh album, A Quiet and Harmless Living, came out last September and has amassed millions of streams.
Tuesday — Bob Dylan at TD Pavilion at Highmark Mann
Dylan is coming to the Mann for a weeknight concert with Jimmie Vaughan & The Tilt-A-Whirl Band and Brittney Spencer supporting.
Wednesday — Congress the Band at Theatre of Living Arts
Charleston’s Congress the Band, Athens’ The Gringos, and Portland, Maine’s Rigometrics are joining forces for a night of college-y indie rock jams in the middle of the week at the classic South Street venue.
Thursday — Owen Stewart at Abington Art Center
Philly’s eminent classic rock revivalist is playing a free solo show in the suburbs as part of The Abington Art Center Summer Concert Series. Check out his 2024 Free At Noon performance here and his 2025 XPoNential Festival set here.
