Dangerous Ponies announce new tour dates
Philly’s own Dangerous Ponies have just announced an extensive tour in support of the national release of the band’s debut album. (The self-titled debut received a smaller release last year via Punk Rock Payroll.) This isn’t some short jaunt up the East Coast or a road trip to Chicago and back, folks. This is the real deal: close to two-and-a-half months’ worth of life on the road, and all of the indie-rock glory that comes with it. (Which includes, but is not limited to, flat tires, band fights, sleeping on strangers’ couches, going days/weeks without a shower, frantically searching for the nearest instrument repair shop, late-night drives while jacked up on trucker speed, and all other kinds of fun stuff.) The tour wraps up with a June 10th performance at First Unitarian Church, which will also be the vinyl-release show.
