Vivian Girls release video for “Take It As It Comes”, announce tour dates (performing Sept. 6th at Johnny Brenda’s)

Vivian Girls, who are playing Johnny Brenda’s September 6th, have just released a new video for “Take It As It Comes” off 2011’s Share The Joy. The video (like the song) is a ’60s girl-group throwback, incorporating the spoken word portions of “Take It As It Comes” into a phone call set in a pink-papered bedroom. If there were music videos when The Shangri-Las were together, it’s easy to imagine that it’d be something like this.
