Band of Horses reschedule show (that Kings of Leon cancelled), now playing the TLA on Tuesday, August 9th
Two days ago, Kings of Leon decided to call off the remainder of their U.S. summer tour, which included a scheduled performance with Band of Horses at the Susquehanna Bank Center on August 12th. Citing lead singer Caleb Followill’s “vocal issues and exhaustion,” the cancellation was certainly a bummer, but thankfully Band of Horses is rallying hard and has announced that they will attempt to visit as many of the cancelled cities as possible. Philly has been confirmed as one of the cities receiving a show, and it’s happening soon – this Tuesday, August 9th, at the TLA. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Thursday, August 4th) at noon; they will cost $25 and will be made available here.
Here’s the video for “Funeral” from the group’s 2006 debut album Everything All the Time.
