“Business as usual” over at The Trocadero, despite recent bankruptcy protection filing
The Philadelphia Inquirer‘s Dan Deluca has just followed up on Joe DiStefano’s PhillyDeals blog from yesterday, in which DiStefano broke the news that The Trocadero had filed for bankruptcy protection. From Deluca’s In The Mix blog:
This morning I spoke to Jon Hampton of concert promoter AEG Live, which is the sole booker at the Troc (and also the Mann Center for the Performing Arts, where Bob Dylan and Leon Russell are playing tonight.) Hampton said that the calendar of shows coming up at the Troc will go on as planned while the bankruptcy filing works its way though the courts.
“It’s business as usual for us” at the Troc, Hampton said. “We will continue to book shows this fall, and into 2012. The restructuring has no impact whatsoever on the booking.”
