WXPN and The Key partner with Bands In The Backyard for the BITBY SXSW Showcase

WXPN and The Key have partnered up with Bands In The Backyard for a SXSW showcase that will feature a handful of Philly bands (as well as non-local acts). The showcase will include Mrs. Magician, Oh! Pears, Break It Up, Attia Taylor, Dad Rocks, Shorty Boy Boy, The Veda Rays, Spirit Animal, and other guests. The performances run from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 15th; no badges or RSVPs are required to attend.

On Friday, March 9th, BITBY will hold a SXSW Kickoff/Fundraising party at The Skybox at 2424 Studios. The showcase will feature performances by 10 bands on two stages, including Break It Up, Oh! Pears, Attial Taylor, Spirit Animal, and Jurassic Shark. The performances begin at 7 p.m.; tickets to the all-ages show are $10 (a portion of the proceeds will benefit Girls Rock Philly).
