It’s become sort of customary for Davye Hawk, mastermind of Philly by-way-of Jersey electropop project Memory Tapes, to lay low and keep quiet until he has something new to blow everyone’s mind with. A trippy new video, say. Or a cover remix of Air France’s “It Feels Good To Be Around You,” in memory of the Sweden indie-pop cult favorites that announced their breakup earlier this week.

“lots of sentimental talk around but honestly i think of henrik and joel as possibly the funniest people i’ve ever met,” Hawk tweeted. “miss u @theairfrance.”
