The Bailey Hounds play Laurel Hill Cemetery this weekend
Folksy Philadelphia fivesome The Bailey Hounds are a band of many tones and moods: husky, melodic, brooding, serene. Their album Along the Gallows, released a day before Halloween last year, rustles with windswept gothic Americana tones and lyrical explorations of the here and the hereafter. It’s not too surprising, then, to learn that the next gig the group has lined up is an appearance in East Falls’ historic Laurel Hill Cemetery for its summer concert under the stars this weekend. You can take a peek at the exact plot the guys will be playing in on their Facebook page, stream Along the Gallows below, and keep on the lookout for a Key Studio Session from the band later on this year. The Bailey Hounds perform at Laurel Hill Cemetery Saturday June 2 at 8 p.m. Admission to the all-ages show is $10.
