Check out Shorty Boy Boy’s “Caravan Kickoff” tonight at Silk City

The other week we told you about the annual Caravan Tour: a group of Philadelphia bands that hustle up to Maine for a weekend of live music and good times. One of the acts heading north this year is Josh Pannepacker’s project, Shorty Boy Boy. He will be performing a live set tonight at Silk City. And if you’re sad to leave after having such an awesome time, fear not. Shorty’s fun, rockin’ candy-pop music can go home with you; the first 25 people to arrive tonight will receive a free copy of his recent Candy Man 7″. Other performing acts tonight include Sweatheart and Cherokee Red. Also, Bands in the Backyard will be screening their latest monthly episode, featuring Psychic Teens.
