Enchanting English songwriter Neil Halstead – the guy behind 90s dreampop favorites Slowdive, country-tinged aughts outfit Mojave 3, and the solo album Sleeping on Roads, one of the most criminally overlooked records of the past ten years – is returning to Philadelphia this fall. He’ll play World Cafe Live on Oct. 3, the perfect time of year for his music’s autumnal vibes. The show is in support of his third solo record, Palindrome Hunches, due out on Brushfire Records on Sept. 11. Tickets for the all-ages show go on sale this Friday Aug. 10 at noon. Halstead recently premiered a track from the new album called “Spin The Bottle” in an acoustic video; check it out below.
