Awesome news for Philly adult-punks Restorations; they’ve been signed to SideOneDummy Records, according to a report on PunkNews.org. They plan to release their sophomore full-length which was recorded will be recorded at Miner Street Studios with producer Jonathan Low this spring in early 2013; sessions begin next week. The label seemed just as stoked on the news as the band and their fans are: “We are thrilled to finally announce that one of our favorite bands, Restorations, has joined the SideOneDummy family,” they posted today. “After their last self-titled record won the entire staff over, we could not stop talking about how great it would be to work with these guys.” While we can’t wait to hear the full new record, a taste of new material is out there: earlier this year, Restorations released the A/B 7″ on Tiny Engines records, which features two songs from the band’s Miner Street sessions earlier this spring.
