Watch the new video for "Black Mold" by Jon Spencer Blues Explosion (playing Underground Arts next month) - WXPN | Vinyl At Heart

The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion are back with primal rock and roll vengeance on its new album, Meat And Bone. The manic, blues and punk informed Spencer and his guitarist Judah Bauer and drummer Russell Simins have always occupied a unique place in the record racks with their reformulation of various genres from noise-rock to Delta blues to rap and rockabilly. The new album is a high powered rock and roll welcome back since their last album in 2004. The band plays Underground Arts on Saturday, October 6th. Go here for tickets to the show and more information. Below, watch the video for “Black Mold,” with a warning to those of you who have queasy stomachs; the plot line follows two hunters who become infected by some diseased type of food they eat and it all turns (very creatively) into a Walking Dead horror-movie type vignette. Watch at your own risk.
