Gritty garage rockers Purling Hiss to release live cassette on 10/30

Local psych rockers Purling Hiss will be releasing a distortion-heavy WFMU in-studio performance on cassette through Fan Death Records on October 30th.  The tape, called A Little Off Center, will include five discography-spanning tracks recorded at WFMU’s Jersey City, NJ studios on December 21st, 2010 at the tail-end of a tour with Kurt Vile. (Thanks to The Deli for spotting this news over the weekend.)
