Ruby the Hatchet donating profits from OUROBOROS to Hurricane Sandy Relief
In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, the musical community has stepped up and become a leader in fundraising and supporting the region affected by the storm. Local rockers Ruby the Hatchet have joined in the effort by announcing that they will donate all profits made from sales of their new album OUROBOROS to Rebuild Recover, a grassroots organization started by New Jersey residents to help those impacted by the storm regain their homes and communities. Lead singer Jillian Taylor, a native of Asbury Park, NJ, filmed a short video about the band’s contribution, which you can view below. The album is available on Ruby the Hatchet’s Bandcamp as a name-your-own-price download.
