The Kids Corner Music Festival is heading to Central Pennsylvania tomorrow!
The folks over at Kids Corner are packing up the show this weekend and bringing it to Central Pennsylvania! Hosted by Kathy O’Connell, the Kids Corner Music Festival will take over the brand-new Charles R. and Anita B. Winter Visual and Performing Arts Center at Millersville University tomorrow, November 17th, for a day filled with family fun and great kids music from Steven Courtney + the Suitcase Musicians and The Diggity Dudes.
Seasoned Kids Corner Festival attendees will know to look for the balloon stand, where you can pick up a free balloon twist courtesy of Kids Corner and XPN. Millersville students will also be running a “musical petting zoo” where you and your family can learn all about musical instruments and even create your own!
Since its start in March of 2011, the Kids Corner Music Festival has celebrated family entertainment in Philadelphia and Wilmington and brightened the day of over 2,000 fans. To welcome the Festival to Central Pennsylvania, Kids Corner is very excited to offer free tickets to XPN Members in conjunction with a grant from the Lancaster County Community Foundation. Members can claim their tickets through today, November 16th, here. Non-members may purchase a discount introductory membership to WXPN, which will include four free tickets, or purchase regularly-priced tickets for $8 here.
Doors for the Kids Corner Music Festival will open at 10:30 a.m.; Steven Courtney + the Suitcase Musicians will take the stage at 11:00 a.m followed by The Diggity Dudes at 12:00 p.m. Venue information and directions can be found here and free parking will be available.
