Listen back to New Sweden’s Folkadelphia set (opening for The Last Bison at World Cafe Live on 12/5)

Wilmington, DE folk-roots band New Sweden stopped by the XPN studios earlier this year and performed an on-air set for XPN2’s Folkadelphia, sharing some banjo-strumming, foot-stomping songs from their 2011 debut The Mountain.  As good as the award-winning band sounds in the recordings below, they are a live band at heart and put on one of those rousing, crowd-participating shows that stay with you long after it ends.  New Sweden will be opening for The Last Bison at World Cafe Live upstairs this Wednesday, December 5th; tickets and information can be found here.  Below, stream and download “Saint, Don’t You Lie” and “View From the Mountain” and watch the session video for “The Highest Road.”  Go here for the full session.
