Toy Soldiers premiering documentary film, The Maybe Trails, playing show at Johnny Brenda’s on 4/19
With their long-in-the-making new LP The Maybe Boys seeing the light of day soon, Philly roots-rock trio Toy Soldiers announced a headlining appearance at Johnny Brenda’s on Friday, April 19th to not only showcase material from the new album, but also premier The Maybe Trails, a new documentary on the band produced by Temple film alum Seth Klinger. From the band:
Last March, Toy Soldiers spent a month on the road barreling all over the U.S. from the tip of northern Vermont down to Austin, TX for SXSW and back (kind of). Along the way there was much mishaps, madness, wild times and extremely uneventful times. Filmmaker, Seth Klinger, followed the band during their journey and made a documentary.
The film is scored and soundtracked by the band themselves and will feature snippets from tracks from their forthcoming album, “THE MAYBE BOYS”.
Also playing the 21+ show are the North Carolinian ensemble Holy Ghost Tent Revival. Tickets for the show are on sale now through the Johnny Brenda’s website. Below, watch the trailer for The Maybe Trails.
