Download a new song from Tricky called “Tribal Drums” (playing Union Transfer on 6/11)

English musician / producer Tricky has debuted a new song off of his upcoming False Idols LP.  “Tribal Drums” is the fourth sample from the new album we’re hearing – “Nothing’s Changed” and “Hey Love” were shared earlier this month, as was a video for b-side “Does It.”  London-based singer Francesca Belmonte appears on several tracks, including “Tribal Beats.”  The Mercury Prize nominee has gotten his groove back since the release of his seminal Maxinquaye debut, explaining:

 ‘I was lost for ages…. I was trying to prove something to people, trying to do something to please other people and also myself at the same time, which is never going to work….  My last two albums, I thought they were good, but I realize now they weren’t.  This album is about me finding myself again.’
