Khari Mateen announces free sunset concert, release new LP on 5/6

Brewerytown has invited Khari Mateen to kick off the neighborhood’s free sunset jazz concert series on May 16th.  The local multi-instrumentalist / producer will have just put out his new seven-track EP Khari, set for release next Monday.  The two solo tracks we heard from the R&B / soul crooner earlier this year are not on the new album, but you can still download “Doing Things” and “My Taste” for free on Mateen’s Bandcamp here.  The May 16th concert in Brewerytown is free – more information can be found here.  Below, watch Mateen’s video for “My Taste.”
