Mic Stewart raps “I’m not from Brooklyn” on his new track, and he really isn’t. The Philly hip-hop artist released his first album, Peaceworld, in April, and he’ll be performing live on XPN’s Philly Local Show tonight at 9:30 p.m. Peaceworld has a great mixture of catchy, feel-good tunes, smart raps, and an awesome variety of beats. Mic Stew is also the winner of last year’s National Red Bull Emsee Competition, so be sure to tune in to hear his set XPN tonight.

Mic Stew will be opening for hip hop heavyweights Mobb Deep on Sunday, June 9th at The Blockley. Tickets and information can be found HERE. We really don’t want you to miss this show, so comment below for your chance to win a pair of free tickets! Meanwhile, check out the video for his infectious and witty tune, “I’m not From Brooklyn.”
