For over a week now, Clark Park has been hosting the second annual Heart & Soul: The University City Piano Project. It’s a visual and musical interactive art experience – four pianos set up in the park in a square-ish formation (mainly off of Chester Ave or 43rd Street) for any and all to play and enjoy. The pianos have been decked out by local artist and musician Joe Boruchow, whose black and white paper cut-out work you may recognize all around Philly. The “exhibit” is meant to inspire impromptu performances from people of all musical backgrounds and experiences; the event ends this Sunday, so be sure to stop by and try it out.
