Download a farewell album from Philly indie-poppers Catnaps (final show 6/19 at PhilaMOCA)

After four years traversing the worlds of twee, to twee-punk to straightahead punk, Philly’s Catnaps is calling it a day. As previously reported, the band’s show this Wednesday at PhilaMOCA will be their last, but they’re not going away without leaving us with a final collection of new music to remember them by. The Forget About It EP, released as a free download to Bandcamp today, has a nice, uber-catchy Go-Gos thing going on, perhaps hinting at what might have been, or more accurately what will continue to be – since we totally expect all the Catnaps mates will remain active in the Philadelphia music scene in different forms for a while.
