Here’s another great artist you don’t want to miss at Make Music Philly this Friday: Joy Ike.  This Pittsburgh singer-songwriter falls somewhere between Regina Spektor and Norah Jones.  In January, she released her third LP, All or Nothing, an album of love songs approached from different people perspectives, stories and attitudes.  Using everything from piano to cello to wurlitzer (and her powerful voice), Joy Ike is a gifted songwriter who crafts catchy melody after catchy melody.  On Friday, she plays the Fleisher Art Memorial at 1:00.  You don’t want to miss this afternoon show.
