Dice Raw previews new concept album “Jimmy’s Back” at SoHo Apple Store

Last night, Philly hip-hop mainstay Dice Raw took the stage at NYC’s SoHo Apple Store to debut some tracks from his forthcoming concept album, which will be released in early August. The album is called Jimmy’s Back and drew its concept heavily from the New York Times bestselling book, “The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Color Blindness” by Dr. Michelle Alexander. In addition to performing some of Jimmy’s Back material, Dice Raw has also released a video promoting the new album, and made the album’s single “Over”, available to stream at his Soundcloud page.
