Stream New Order’s new Live at Bestival 2012 benefit album (playing the Mann Center on 7/26)
Backing up their latest release Lost Sirens, English rock group New Order have a new benefit live album coming out next week. The 13-track album was recorded at their 2012 Bestival appearance on the Isle of Wight. Currently streaming on The Guardian, Live at Bestival 2012 offers a retrospective of the band’s extensive career with early cuts (“Elegia”) and singles (“True Faith”) to favorite hits (“Bizarre Love Triangle”) and several Joy Division reprises. Proceeds from the record will be donated to the Isle of Wight Youth Trust, an organization that assists people under 25 with counseling and support services. Stream the album below and watch New Order’s performance of “Love Will Tear Us Apart” from the festival. They’ll be in town with Holy Ghost for a show at the Mann Center on July 26th, followed with an appearance by bassist Peter Hook and his band The Light at The Trocadero on September 14th. Tickets and info for both shows can be found here.
