With the summer heat wave bearing down upon us, you probably hear a lot of pining for the opposite climate extreme in your day-to-day sweltering. It’s safe to say that most of those folks will be grumbling about the cold when the snow season sets in, but some of us genuinely do enjoy and look forward to the more frigid times of the year. It’s clear that Philly singer-songwriter Gretchen Lohse is one of the latter. In her latest music video for “Being Still,” released this week, Lohse wanders snow-covered roads in pastoral settings, while the blissful 4AD-esque pop song simmers in the background.
