Philly’s Wild Rompit celebrating Spirit Moves at Kung Fu Nectie on 8/29
Philly band Wild Rompit already have a couple of EPs to their name, but on August 27th, the group is releasing its very first full-length album. The upcoming Spirit Moves, self-produced by guitarist Brandon Bost, is a long time in the making. The band took six months in the studio to painstakingly record the moments of their young lives, where they are and from where they’ve come. Sounding a bit like an edgier Dave Matthews band, or an amped-up Mumford & Sons, Wild Rompit make glistening riffs around rowdy choruses and powerful drumbeats. The group will play a release show at Kung Fu Necktie on August 29th. Below, you can hear a song of their last release, Brotherhood, and click here for more concert information.
