XPoNential Fest: Kat Edmonson charms the crowd at the Marina Stage
Today singer/songwriter Kat Edmonson played a dazzling set at the XPoNential Music Festival. Following the wild and vibrant Alo Brasil, Kat slowed things down considerably, bringing her soft, yet soulful charm to the Marina Stage. Her wildly entertaining set included tunes like “Nobody Knows That”, “You Said Enough”, and “Hopelessly Blue.” Accompanied only by acoustic guitar player, Steve Elliott, Edmonson’s soothing vocals and unique songwriting skill were sure to put a smile on nearly everyone’s face – as made evident by the standing ovation she received upon the closing notes of her song “Lucky.” Her most recent album, Way Down Low, was released April of 2010. See photos of the performance in the gallery below, read the setlist after the jump, and listen to the set in its entirety here (via the WXPN media player).
