Running though a set of old favorites and new singles off their recent self titled album, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros closed the night with their performance at the XPoNential river stage. Although needing help from the audience to finish their second song, “40 Day Dream,” the eccentric folk band kept spirits with various solo songs by the different members. Playing their best known single, “Home,” second to last, Alex allowed the audience to tell their own stories rather than him telling his and Jade’s tale. Jade and Alex then invited self proclaimed “number one fan”, Kyle, up to the stage to finish out the set on the drums. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros just came out with their self titled album this past Tuesday.
