Download a trippy EP from Ape School (playing Milkboy 8/29)

Ape School, the moniker for experimental musician Michael Johnson, just released a new four-song EP Quitting Time. It’s a collection of weirdly awesome tunes – psychedelic, space-themed electronic, mellow, and kinda catchy all at the same time. All of the tracks are available for free downloads; “Jobs are for money. Music is for brainslides,” Johnson writes on the Ape School Facebook. Ape School is playing the Brandywine Folk Festival on August 25th and a show at Milkboy with Mac DeMarco on August 29th – find more information on the event here.
