All That Philly Jazz app breathes life into the local jazz scene

Aiming to rekindle the history of the Philly jazz scene, app designer Faye Anderson created All That Philly Jazz, which maps out locations of local jazz clubs and other historic landmarks such as John Coltrane’s home in North Philadelphia and The Showboat. Local blog Technically Philly reported today that Anderson launched the project on this Spring’s Music Hack Day. In addition to mapping music history, it allows users to remember the glory days (or discover them anew) by sharing their memories through photos and videos. Download the mobile app here.
