Calvin Johnson gets domestic in “A Woman Named Trudy” video, announces fall tour (playing in York 9/15)

Calvin Johnson will be taking to the road this fall for a solo tour, playing in York at Sign of the Wagon on September 15th. He’s known for his boots-on-cobblestone sound in indie rock groups from Beat Happening to his current act The Hive Dwellers, which just released a video for the single, “A Woman Named Trudy.” It gives a saturated view of a mediocre cabin life with his ideal woman, Trudy; the song comes from the Dwellers’ latest album Hewn From The Wilderness.
