We’re happy to share with you a new video from Pattern Is Movement of their cover of D’Angelo’s “Untitled (How Does It Feel).” It’s the B-side to their new 12′ single of “Suckling,” from the band’s forthcoming album coming out in 2014 on Hometapes. The fantastically talented duo – singer Andrew Thiboldeaux on keyboards, synths and bass and drummer Chris Ward – are playing Union Transfer on October 24th, with The Spinto Band, Norwegian Arms, Worshyper, and the WYYLDSTYLE DJs. Thiboldeaux and Ward bring a different kind of burn to the cover of this sultry D’Angelo song. No pun intended (see videos below) they strip it the song down to the basics; Ward nailing the groove and Andrew giving the piano playing jazzier textures.
